Description
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
IRA SIGA CURE is an advanced microbial consortium–based biological formulation developed for effective management of Sigatoka fungal disease in banana plantations. The product contains a strategically selected blend of disease-resistant beneficial microbes that suppress fungal pathogens, strengthen natural plant defense mechanisms, and improve overall plant vigor.
IRA SIGA CURE is specifically designed for drip irrigation application, enabling uniform root-zone colonization and sustained systemic support during critical crop stages.
MODE OF ACTION
• Suppresses Sigatoka-causing fungal pathogens through competitive exclusion
• Produces antifungal metabolites and bioactive compounds
• Enhances systemic resistance and natural immunity in banana plants
• Establishes beneficial microbial dominance in the rhizosphere
• Improves leaf health, photosynthetic efficiency, and plant vigor
BENEFITS
• Effective biological management of Sigatoka disease
• Reduces leaf spot severity and disease progression
• Improves green leaf retention and functional leaf area
• Enhances nutrient uptake and stress tolerance
• Supports better bunch development and yield potential
• Residue-free, eco-friendly, and safe for sustainable agriculture
• Suitable for Integrated Disease Management (IDM) programs
MICROBIAL COMPOSITION
Each liter contains a high-efficacy consortium of disease-resistant beneficial microorganisms, including:
• Pseudomonas species (spp.) – Known for strong antifungal activity, siderophore production, and induction of systemic resistance
• Bacillus subtilis – Produces bioactive antifungal compounds and supports root and plant health
• Blend of other beneficial microbes – Selected for synergistic action, rhizosphere colonization, and disease-suppressive properties
Total Viable Count: 2 × 10¹⁰ CFU (20 billion CFU)
DOSAGE & APPLICATION
RECOMMENDED DOSAGE
• Dose: 1 Liter per acre
• Method: Drip irrigation
• Coverage: One acre of banana plantation
APPLICATION SCHEDULE
