Biological Protection Against Pests

Biomagic-P is a microbial biopesticide formulated with a consortium of beneficial entomopathogenic fungi and bacteria. It helps manage major sucking and chewing insect pests by natural microbial action and supports sustainable pest management in field and horticultural crops.

Microorganisms are present in lyophilised (freeze-dried) dormant form, ensuring stability during storage.They become active upon exposure to moisture and favourable soil conditions.Stable across a broad range of conditions (pH-1.5–10 and temperatures up to 45°C), enabling performance in diverse environments.

Mode of Action

The spore of the fungus when comes in contact with the cuticle (skin) of the target pest insect it germinates and grows directly through the spiracle in the cuticle into the inner body of the host. The fungus by taking nutrients from the insect proliferates and colonizes the entire insect and thus drains the insect of nutrients thus helping the crop
