Microbial Consortia in IRA Vermicompost

While basic vermicompost already contains natural microbes, IRA Vermicompost is boosted with targeted strains for plant growth and root protection:

Bacillus subtilis
Strong root-colonizing PGPR; enhances growth and suppresses certain root pathogens.

Pseudomonas fluorescens
Supports plant health by producing metabolites that help in disease suppression.

Trichoderma harzianum / T. viride
Excellent for managing root rot and damping-off in nurseries and vegetable crops.

Mild support from N-fixing and P-solubilizing bacteria
Included at lower levels to complement the nutrient profile without overloading.

These strains are lifelized, ensuring consistency and high survival when reactivated in moist soil.
