Description

Product Overview

IRA RHIZO is a high-quality Rhizobium-based biofertilizer formulated to enhance biological nitrogen fixation in leguminous crops. It establishes an effective symbiotic relationship with legume roots, leading to improved nodulation, atmospheric nitrogen fixation, and sustained soil fertility.

IRA RHIZO reduces dependency on chemical nitrogen fertilizers while improving crop vigor, yield, and soil health.

Active Microorganism

• Rhizobium spp.

Microbial Concentration

• 1 × 10⁹ CFU per gram

Mode of Action

• Colonizes legume root hairs and forms effective root nodules
• Fixes atmospheric nitrogen (N₂) and converts it into plant-available forms
• Supplies continuous nitrogen throughout the crop growth cycle
• Enhances root development and nutrient uptake
• Improves soil microbial activity and long-term fertility

Key Benefits

• Enhances biological nitrogen fixation in legumes
• Reduces chemical nitrogen fertilizer requirement
• Improves root nodulation and plant vigor
• Increases crop yield and protein content
• Improves soil structure and microbial health
• Eco-friendly, residue-free, and sustainable
• Suitable for organic and integrated nutrient management systems

Recommended Crops

• Pulses and legumes such as:
• Groundnut
• Soybean
• Red gram (Pigeon pea)
• Green gram
• Black gram
• Chickpea
• Cowpea
• Peas and beans

Dosage & Application

Recommended Dosage
• Dose: 2 liters per acre
• Method: Soil application / Drip irrigation
• Coverage: One acre of land

Method of Application

Through Drip Irrigation / Soil Application
1. Dilute 2 liters of IRA RHIZO in sufficient clean water
2. Apply through drip irrigation or directly to moist soil near the root zone
3. Ensure adequate soil moisture after application for microbial establishment
4. Apply preferably during early crop stages for best nodulation

Application Timing

• At sowing or early seedling stage
• Repeat application 30–35 days after sowing if required

Compatibility

• Compatible with most biofertilizers and organic inputs
• Can be used along with phosphorous solubilizing bacteria (PSB) and potash mobilizers
• Avoid mixing with chemical fungicides, bactericides, or antibiotics during application

Precautions

• Shake well before use
• Use chlorine-free water for dilution
• Do not mix with strong chemicals
• Maintain soil moisture after application
• Store away from heat and direct sunlight

Storage Conditions

• Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C
• Do not expose to direct sunlight
• Do not freeze
• Keep container tightly closed
